5-16-06 Wind Cave/Woodcarving
We are done working for this week so off we go exploring the area. Our first stop was the National Museum of Woodcarving. Coral plans to take classes here in June.
Here is Ralph and Coral admiring some hand carved furnature.
This carving was carved by a real horse's ass!
Most of the carvings were animated and created by on of the original Disneyland animators.
On the way to our next destination, Coral snapped these pictures of baby Prairie Dogs.
Boss Hog wasn't far behind.
Here we are at Wind Cave, not to be mistaken for Break-Wind Cave that PJ christened in Kings Canyon Park.
Here is the original entry hole. It was about 2 feet across. There is no way my ass would ever make it through this hole!
Here's Ralph climbing into the Cave. We will be hiking a half mile and over 200 feet down.
Coral says "They want me to go into that deep, dark cave!"

Coral has more than darkness to fear in those caves.
Did you drop ass again, dad?
*shakes head*
